For 21 years The Gyprock Red Book has been the plasterboard industry’s most widely recognised and respected design and installation guide. It combines all the performance detail and technical guidance required to specify residential and commercial wall, ceiling, column and beam systems at the fingertips of architects, specifiers, builders and installers.
On the occasion of its 21st birthday, Carbon5 were asked to come up with a fresh and distinct look and feel for The Red Book. We started by designing a simple, yet striking ID that could be used across all marketing collateral. This was then extended into the design of The Red Book covers across its three volumes and is an integral part of the digital launch of The Red Book in May 2020.
As part of the launch, Carbon5 also designed a cover for Architectural Product News, Australia’s pre-eminent Architectural Product magazine for products, services and alerts to new models, trends, colours and finishes for the building industry.
